First off…it would be interesting to know how many peeps on here even know who Bill Stoneman is…that said, he does not get enough credit for assembling the talent that won the Halos their only World Series title in 2002 (including the hiring of Mike Scioscia). It’s not a coincidence that the Angels struggles started after his departure in 2007, 4 years after Arte took the reins, and the front office became a revolving door of who’s who.
