It’s only been 9 games, but it’s clear his management decisions are based more on analytics. Some examples I recall:

In Saturday’s game, Hendricks was pulled after 5 innings and 74 pitches to avoid facing the lineup for a third time.

Do not try to advance a runner with a bunt. Players should try to hit instead. This happened in the 9th and 10th innings of Sunday’s game.
It’s not what we’re used to seeing, but the numbers back up these decisions. It’s also how analytically-driven teams, like the Dodgers, operate. Taking this approach should improve our chances of winning games.
