How do you guys like our young core? Schanuel 23yo, Neto 24yo, O’Hoppe 25yo. The latter two have some pretty bad K/BB ratios, but they have a ton of power at valuable positions and plenty of time to develop. Nolan makes up for some of their deficiencies and has all the makings of a consistent .300 hitter once he gets his grown man legs under him. I’d like to see more of Nolan at lead-off. He’s hitting .315 with an .800 OPS out of the 2-hole, but Neto is also hitting .320 there, with a .960 OPS across a small sample size of 25 ABs.
