Based on the reports of both of them getting reps at 1st base, I’m hoping eventually either one of them transitions into playing there regularly for the time being. With how much Walsh has struggled at the plate, it’s getting difficult seeing him out there at the moment.
If either Ward or Renfroe can shift to 1st, Moniak can get a more regular spot in the rotation and Adell can potentially be called up as well. With Rendon and Neto back (which is hopefully soon), the lineup could potentially be something like

Ward
Renfroe

Thaiss/Wallach
The defense at first could be a concern with, but offensively this lineup seems like it has the highest ceiling after Urshela’s injury. Thoughts?
