The Angels don’t play a team under .500 again until Aug 25th (@NY Mets), but then 3 @ Philadelphia (NL Wild card team #2).
So they probably need to win 5 or 6 of these 8 upcoming series to have a shot at making the playoffs. This looks really tough, the Angels will need to play their very best in August. They need Trout and Drury back in the lineup asap.
September has some tough series against Texas, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, and Minnesota. But at least we have 6 games against Oakland and 3 against Detroit.
