Lots of talk about Arte being cheap so I wanted to see if anyone can give me the numbers.

Every time I watch an angels game, I get the sense the angels don’t have a clue of who they’re playing.

I get the sense that Detmers, Shohei, Sandy pitch the first couple innings to “scout” the batters more recent tendency. It’s like no coaching whatsoever is happening. This shouldn’t be on Nevin tbh.

I get the sense that hitters have the same game plan. Try to hit a homer when it’s in the strike zone, but I don’t get the sense the pitcher recent tendency is scouted properly.

I could be wrong..but certainly feels like that every time I watch a game.
