The Astros run of dominance has no end in sight
The Mariners have already secured Cal Raleigh and J-Rod long-term, have an endless amount of young pitching talent, and have one of the best overall farm systems in the league
The A’s have an elite young core, and John Fisher is likely to open up his checkbook and sign free agents for the first time ever during the 2027 offseason so that his team has a lot of hype going into their first season in Vegas
The Rangers future is a little more uncertain, but their farm system is still much better than ours
When exactly is our window for contention? Our situation looks just as hopeless as the Rockies situation. At this point, I’m about ready to just check out of following baseball for good, and I’ve been watching this team for 15 years. It gets to a point where continuing to be a fan of a losing team for nearly two decades is just pure stupidity.
And no, this isn’t an emotional reaction to the loss tonight. I’ve been thinking about this all week.
