The Angels have drafted well in the first round in recent years so I’m not going to doubt them here. Bremner has the second highest upside of any college arm behind Doyle. He has a big frame, a fastball that touches the upper 90s, and the best changeup in the class. The slider is still developing but the stuff is legit. He is cheaper and has fewer health concerns, and I have no problem chasing upside while mitigating risk with a profile like this…as long as we can actually sign him under slot and make moves later in the draft.
