Am I crazy but after last night im starting to think, hanging on to Ty isn’t such a bad idea.
Look at the vast majority of his starts, he keeps us in games. Bring him back next year as our #5 starter. 1 year, $10 million.
He’ll never wow anyone but you have to admit, we are in almost every game he starts. That’s exactly what you’ll take for your #5.
He’s already familiar with the coaching and catchers. Bringing in another guy is risky.
All in all, Anderson had a pretty good 3 year stretch with us. Made the all-star team. Pretty good $39 million signing.
