Okay so I am a Yankees fan. I remember the Angels-Yankees matchups back in the early 2000s.

I have a question that only some true Angels fan can probably answer.

Chone Figgins – the ultimate utility guy. According to Baseball Reference he played every position EXCEPT catcher, first base, and pitcher.

…however, my memory recalls him playing catcher at some point? Perhaps after a pinch hitter? Does anyone remember that – or did Scioscia just consider putting him in as a last resort.

I know this is a stupid question lol. But I swear I thought I remembered this happening.
