I’m the cliché international fan that became an Angels’ fan because of Shohei (I was an NPB fan actually) and I chose my MLB team based on that.
I enjoyed watching the Angels and I genuinely became a fan of the team and several players but Shohei is still my #1.
However, I don’t know how to feel about him signing with the Dodgers! I never paid much attention to them before and I actually usually lumped them with the Yankees.
They were never a team I thought I would root for but I’ll just have take solace in the fact that they’re in NLE while the Angels are in ALW and not think too hard about the rest.
I just hope there won’t be too many games between LAD and LAA or that Shohei will decide not to play in those games 🫥🫥
