Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that this is the first time in a LONG long time that Angels fans are this pumped this late into the season. Sure the guys have been playing great, but I feel like the moves Perry has been making has lit a fire under the team and the fans as well. It of course would be disappointing to not make the playoffs, but the fact that we’re actually STRONGLY in the conversation is amazing. We’re even seeing it on national media now everyone is forced to talk about the Angels. I know it’s something other teams experience every season (Astros, Braves, etc.) but it’s so nice feeling so pumped and watching us climb higher and higher on the scoreboard.

All of this despite the fact that we have SEVENTEEN players on the IL. The fact that we haven’t completely crumpled and fallen off is a testament to Perry’s moves, cause we would be packing our bags for Cancun at this point in the season any other year.
