2022

Set new career-highs in nearly every offensive category during fourth big league season with the Angels…Established new bests in average (.264), OPS (.724), games (127), hits (129), runs (45), doubles (22), triples (fpur), home runs (17), RBI (52) and stolen bases (six)…Ranked third on the Club in hits, fourth in doubles, second in triples, fourth in homers, fourth in RBI and fourth in average…Began the season with Triple-A Salt Lake and was recalled May 8…After hitting .204 (21/103) through June 17, went on to bat .280 (108/386) with 21 doubles, two triples, 15 home runs and 45 RBI over his final 95 games…In that span, paced the Halos in hits, doubles and games played (95) and was tied with Ohtani for the lead in average…Logged a career-long 10-game hit streak from June 29-July 10…Registered a career-best 20 game on-base streak from June 29-July 26…Despite making season debut in May, 32 multi-hit games ranked fourth on the team behind Ohtani (41), Ward (36) and Trout (33).

2021

Made three different stints with the Angels…54 games at the big league level were the second most of career… Appeared defensively at shortstop (26 G), right field (14 G), third base (12 G), second base (4 G) and left field (1 G)…The 14 games in the outfield were the first at the major league level…Made just two errors at shortstop (.981 fielding percentage)…Boasted a 2.4 UZR at shortstop, his best single-season mark at any position…According to FanGraphs.com, in 227 innings at short, 1 DRS was the best mark by a Halo shortstop (min. 150 innings)…Despite limited action with Triple-A Salt Lake, paced the Club with 13 stolen bases while his four triples were tied for the team lead.

2020

Appeared in 33 games across two different stints with the Angels…Began the season on the IL before being activated July 28…Optioned on Aug. 26 to the Club’s Alternate Training Site in Long Beach, CA and was recalled three days later (Aug. 29)…Placed on the IL with a right hamstring strain Sept. 26 and missed the final two games of the season…Went 3-for-4 in stolen base attempts…Improved PA/BB rate from 10.15 to 7.57 between rookie and sophomore seasons.

2019

Saw first big league action across three different stints with the Angels…After beginning the season with Triple-A Salt Lake, was recalled April 25 and made Major League debut that day, starting at second base…Singled in second at-bat off Masahiro Tanaka for first big league hit…Notched first home run June 2nd in Seattle…His seven home runs were the most by a rookie Halo middle infielder since Adam Kennedy’s nine in 2000…According to FanGraphs.com, logged three defensive runs saved, tied for second on the team with David Fletcher (min. 250 inn.)…With the Bees, averaged a home run once every 22 at-bats.

2018

Acquired by the Angels from Tampa Bay as the Player to Be Named Later on March 20, 2018…Went on to appear at three different levels of the minor league system, batting a combined .299 (150/502) with 30 doubles, 13 triples, seven home runs, 64 RBI and 41 stolen bases…The 41 steals paced all Angels farmhands while the .299 clip ranked fourth…Began season with Single-A Inland Empire before being promoted to Double-A Mobile May 22nd…Was assigned to Triple-A Salt Lake July 12 and finished the season with the Bees…Played a majority of games in Triple-A at second base, appearing in 31 at second base compared to 16 at shortstop… Tabbed as the Angels organizational Player of the Month in May and June…Named MiLB.com’s Southern League Player of the Month for June after batting .351 (33/94) with seven doubles, two triples, two home runs, 11 RBI and a 1.001 OPS in 25 June games with Double-A Mobile…Received the organization’s Defender of the Month
award for August…Following the season, recognized by MiLB.com as an Angels Organizational All-Star… According to Baseball America, enters the season as the Angels #6 prospect as well as the Best Hitter for Average and Best Strike-Zone Discipline…Ranked by MLB.com as the franchise’s #10 prospect.
