Fabian Ardaya, former beat writer for the Angels overlapping with Shohei’s tenure, wrote an article in The Athletic on the Dodgers’ usage of Ohtani.
In it, Dodgers GM Andrew Friedman called Ohtani’s situation “unprecedented”.
Judging by current Angel beat writwr Jeff Fletcher’s response (as well as Erica Weston’s “lol”, it’s clear that Ohtani’s Angels tenure is being glossed over.
The Angels helped make Shohei Ohtani who he is. Outside of Halos circles, it almost is never mentioned or discussed.
