[Birch] Today was the fifth straight game for Reid Detmers with 8+ strikeouts and 2 or fewer runs allowed. The only other pitcher in Angels history to have such a streak of at least five games is Nolan Ryan (seven games; his final three games in 1972 and first four in 1973).
