i hate that fans, especially those in this sub, are getting so focused on winning/losing games during preseason. winning games isn’t the point here, the point is to develop our younger guys and give them a look at what major league baseball is like. is it not exciting to see our younger guys get a chance at playing for a shot at the next level? i’m not looking at the score but instead looking at how our younger guys are playing on an individual level and how they could help the team if we choose to move them up. to me, that’s what preseason baseball should be about. not the score, but the individual skills and performances
