As far as I can recall the most consistent “big” problem has been low pitching quality for the last 10-15 years. I just don’t understand the lack of signed talent and lack of drafted talented. Greinke, Wilson, Syndrgaard, Skaggs (may he RIP), Richards, Anderson just to name a few big names were good then had the floor fall out when they were here. And very few prospects to speak of that were developed. How has the FO not done anything about this? I just don’t get it. We’ll have a dozen corpses for outfielders on the roster, but absolute dogshit pitching starting and especially the bullpen. Anyone have an actual in depth idea they’re willing to share?
