Because man its annoying seeing fans who DKSAB clowning or insulting players cause they failed to meet their ridiculous over expectations!

Before this season began fans were really hyping up the “young core”, mostly based on the very small sample sizes they had in 2023; Now being excited about prospects is great and all, but people were really getting ahead of themselves with their expectations…..I think the most ridiculous was someone who claimed “Bachman and Joyce are the best bullpen arms we’ve drafted in several years” with the two having played less than 10 games combined…

But I digress. And then when our young players like Neto, Nolan, Moniak, etc started to struggle at the plate, boy you guys turned on them real quick! Calling for them to be sent down, calling em failures, overhyped (except that you clowns were the ones overhyping them)…

Of course this type of behavior isn’t limited to our rookies. Ya’ll were hating on Rendon bad when he was hitless despite him having some unfortunate batted ball luck. Heck ya’ll did the same with Ohtani last year and were asking for Thaiss to replace him as the DH lol!

So yeah, ya’ll need to stop losing your minds over nothing! Its perfectly normal for rookies to struggle. Hitting major league pitching is hard. Even vets struggle, have their cold spells. Its normal man so chill! Its a long season, give the players time to get going. I mean Nolan and Neto have both looked much after of late. Same with Soriano and his great outing today. Adell has also looked much better at the plate, laying off shit he’d usually whiff at, getting his K rate down. Of course there’s no guarantee these changes will stick and they won’t regress again. Its a long season and our young core is well, young. So trust the process and let the kids play!
