This might be controversial but it’s obvious to me that when you had the most unique baseball player in history win 2 MVP’s on your team… you retire his number. Does spring training not count? Why are they letting Dozier wear 17 lol.

Also maybe I’m being an idiot and usually players wear the number until that player actually retires but I doubt that’s the case.
