Remember when we signed Pujols for that 10 year deal? It was great, until after around 2016-17 he slowly fizzled out. Not hating on Ohtani, but let’s face it: long term deals never work out. Ohtani will be past his prime by year 6 (which he will be 35/36 by then), and won’t produce big numbers as before. I wish him the best as a dodgers
