Odd question but this weekend got me thinking how much I have spent on the Halos in my life.

I got my drivers license in 2009. From there, I pretty much started going to Angel games nonstop. I’m from the inland empire so not including gas and other such expenses, I determined the following…

Based on how many times I went to games over the last four years, I’ve gone to 16 games a year on average. I know that in certain years I went to several more (27 in 2014 when I had nothing better to do). For the first years in college, it was closer to 12 since I went to about two a month.

Combining the cost of parking, helmet nachos, ice cream maybe, a beer on some nights, NOT including hanging out at Golden Road before the game…

I estimated that if I’ve spent $50 per game (that’s lowballing it), and combined with the eight jerseys and dozens of hats and other gear in my closet, I’ve given somewhere between $11k to $15k to this stupid goddamn franchise.

Time to become an alcoholic. I want to fucking die.
