Hello all,
Anaheim native and lifelong Halos fan here. I’ve seen people recommending managerial candidates for the Angels and since Arte is incredibly active on this subreddit, thought I would toss a few names into the hat.
- Mickey Mouse aka El Jefe Rata already runs most of Anaheim. He built his nest here back in the 50’s when they cleared out the orange groves and I think he has the experience to rebuild the team. He led us to victory in 2002 and I think he can do it again.
- Josh Hamilton: Don’t sleep on this one, because he sure hasn’t slept in several years. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to beat the competition and will sacrifice everything for even the shortest high of victory.
- Gene Autry aka the Singing Cowboy. You like the Angels? Thank Gene. I haven’t seen him in years but I’m 84% sure he’s alive and just resting. I have it on good authority that Ohtani loves the show Yellowstone (Source: I made it up) and wants to have a real Western Cowboy ranch. Gene can make that happen. The cowboy hat home run celebration was the best thing that’s happened in years, and with Gene at the helm, I’m positive we can ride to victory.
