In past years, I’ve been proud of the Angels for having the League MVP on the team, despite a mediocre team season.

This year, it almost feels like a slap in the face that Ohtani will win MVP.

His absence for this last stretch has 100% proven why he’s so valuable, but the team situation is so sad it almost feels wrong for Ohtani to win.

Im curious if anyone else feels this way.
