I’m genuinely bummed that he did clear out his locker… and it would appear that the media is painting the picture he cleaned out his locker because of the disappointing loss. Wild guess, but maybe he is expected to have his surgery/procedure done, and he obviously wouldn’t play for the rest of the season. I’m guessing that this was already premeditated, and not in frustration of tonight’s loss. And maybe the purpose of the Walsh/Fletcher call ups were so they could say goodbye to Ohtani, being his teammates for the last couple years. Just my two cents…
