The Angels are an incredibly valuable franchise and I’m sure there would be several high bids from big groups to buy it, but Arte has lost SO much leverage by backing out of selling it earlier this year and by the team putting itself in a position where retaining Ohtani will be difficult. I honestly think it would be a pretty dumb financial decision for Arte not to wait a few years for this to (hopefully for him) blow over, and unfortunately for Angels fans, it seems like the only thing Arte cares about is making money and he’s pretty good at it.

Any other thoughts?
