It’s my fault. I got my hopes up when the organization decided to make a run for the playoffs rather than trade Ohtani. As many of you mentioned before, the Seattle series killed any hope I had lingering. Now with Trout going back on the IL after one game and Ohtani done pitching for quite some time, it’s almost comical that not only a month ago there was a glimmer of hope.
Arte, please sell the team. When the talks started to happen before the season started, I was hopeful. But just like this last month, those hopes were thoroughly slashed to pieces when the news broke that the team wouldn’t be sold.
I’ll be an Angel fan for the rest of my life, but man does this season burn a little more…
Sorry for the rant, just needed to vent.
