The last 24 hours have fucking sucked, nothing Angels fans aren’t used to. Here’s some positives as the season starts to come to a close:

• Schanuel has been a beast at the plate. Some rookie errors and base running mistakes, but that’s normal with such a fast call up. Really liking his approach at the plate. Let’s hope the FO doesn’t ruin him with first pitching swinging and launch angle.

• Second half Rengifo hits different. He’s been really showing some heart and hustle, something some guys in the dugout are sorely lacking.

• Mickey looks to be coming out of his regression. His earlier success
  was not sustainable and the league adjusted. However he seems to be making the right adjustments back.

Yeah that’s all I got. But hey, we got lots to look forward to next year. Neto, O’Hoppe, Joyce, Soriano, the aforementioned rookies. Trout, Ohtani, and Rendon will all have a full season of play together. Our starting pitchers lead by our new ace Sandy will turn a page and get back sub 4.00 ERA. Now focusing only on hitting, Ohtani will become an even bigger offensive threat. We’re winning the world series next year guys.
