Nolan Schanuel’s first Angel game

I thought I’d cut through the darkness and see what everyone thought about Nolan Schanuel’s MLB debut.

I’ve been impressed with him since he was drafted and I thought he had a pretty good first outing. An unassisted double play, a walk that tee’d up the Ohtani grand slam, a key part in the Angels first triple play in over 20 years. And seemed to keep himself pretty composed throughout it all, especially on 24-48 hours notice.

Whatever happens, I think him, O’Hoppe and Neto are gonna make a really fun infield for the next few years.
