It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been to a ballgame. I know we can buy tickets via the Ballpark app but most of the sections I want to sit in are sold out.

I noticed almost (if not all) at the tickets on Ticketmaster are resell. But they all mention the following:

Mobile Entry

These mobile tickets will be transferred directly to you from a trusted seller. We’ll email you instructions on how to accept them on the original ticket provider’s mobile app.

Now I’ve purchased resell tickets before from Ticketmaster (for concerts) but I have always received them instantly. My concern is if I buy them, what if I don’t receive them the day of the ballgame, after a long road trip to the stadium? Also does anybody know what xfr/XFER means? Thanks in advance for your help everyone!
